My story

From El Salvador,with intention.

The short version of a long, brave journey — and the dream stitched into every seam.

Founder portrait

Simply Lily began with a suitcase, a sewing machine, and a stubborn kind of hope. I came to this country from El Salvador with very little — but my mother had taught me to sew, and I knew that was worth something.

For years I made clothes for other people's labels. I noticed how hard it was to find a dress that was modest and still made a woman feel beautiful — not hidden, not fussy, just herself. So I started making the dress I wished I could buy.

I didn't have much. I had a dream, and I knew how to sew. That was enough to begin. The founder

Everything is still made in small batches, by hand. I check every hem. When you wear Simply Lily, you're wearing something a real person made with care — and a little bit of the courage it took to get here.

Why a lily

Simple. Resilient.
Hers.

The lily is the simplest of flowers and the hardest to keep down — it blooms again, season after season, wherever it's planted. Stitched into every label, it's a quiet reminder of where this began, and the woman who refused to give up on it.
